Additionally, it’s known for its medicinal properties and has been associated with a variety of potential health benefits. Siberian ginseng: a herbal tonic or adaptogen used for centuries, responsible for giving you a quick energy and mood boost. Studies have linked Asian and Siberian ginseng to less fatigue and an up-tick in metabolism. It has a beneficial effect on the level of physical energy and also keeps you healthy even when you feel tired. 5-HTP: comes naturally from the seed pods of the plant Griffonia simplicifolia and is a naturally occurring amino acid in our bodies. It's used as a nootropic substance, which is a substance that enhances cognitive function and promotes feelings of well-being. It also affects appetite, sleep cycles and pain perception. ••• White tea Rukeri (Africa): In Rwanda, Africa, the very rare White Tea Rukeri is harvested against a backdrop of natural lakes and conservation areas. The spicy-sweet notes in combination with a crystal clear infusion round off the overall impression tastefully. ••• Hibiscus: for centuries, people have used hibiscus seeds, flowers, leaves and stems in food and traditional medicine. It’s been used to treat everything from high blood pressure to indigestion.
