MycroFlow elixirs (Focused and wave rider) are Cacao-Cardamom flavor (amazing in your coffee) and the Cardamom is what comes through the most.
Each formula has a unique spice, that is NOT just for flavor! According to Ayurvedic medicine , each formula must have a "Dipana" or spice which helps the rest of the formula to digest. This is the flavor that will come through strongest.
A Micro-Elixir is our own verbiage to describe our concentrated and POWERFUL formula enrobed in organic date syrup & cacao (still low glycemic due to amounts) and coconut MCTs, so you need much less, for a bigger punch! Merely 2.5ml (1/2 tsp) is all most folks need to replace their yucky tinctures, pills, and powders that they are using for herbal stress resistance and mind wellness (depends on your specific situation, call 1-833-GO-MYCRO with questions!).
A good starter dose is 2.5ml/ 1/2 tsp stirred into a hot drink, or taken straight or blended/shaken in cold stuff. You should take it regularly and go up if you don't notice anything after 1 week. We like to dose at least 2x a day. Some people dose morning, noon and night (3x a day). For more acute needs, use a whole tsp.
If you are trying to treat ANXIETY, we highly recommend you reduce or eliminate caffeine consumption. but the truth is that it is a little different for each line.
- Do not take the MycroCalm line within 2 hours of caffeine so it does not have to fight with it to be effective.
- The MycroFlow line tastes particularly good in coffee and Chai, so simply reduce your consumption with that line (we do a half-caf in the AM and put 1/2 tsp of focused in each cup.
- The MycroActive Line already has stimulating herbs like Ginseng and Tulsi, so if you add it to coffee, be prepared for an "energy drink" like feeling with less jitters...only do this before moving the body!
This one tends to be obvious when you DON’T react poorly to something that normally stresses you. You find that you are not as bothered by common irritants or have an increased tolerance. This is the line used most often by ADHD folks who DO NOT do well with stimulents.
You should feel a marked increase in physical energy, a desire to move or motivation to get things done. Folks with ADHD who do well on stimulents may find that they are more focused and less scattered. This is the line used most often in concert with a doctor supervised taper, to come off of ADHD medication. People tapering correctly and safely off anti-depressants often use a mix of the Active and Flow lines.
You should feel a stabilization of your nerves and a calming effect without drowsiness come in about 30 minutes (give or take and depending on your own personal digestion). This is the line used most often by people that experience anxiety. For acute episodes up to 1.5 tsp may be used up to 3x a day.
